Brentford vs Liverpool

BRENTFORD

1. Two clubs separated by a solitary point in the Premier League table meet in West London on Saturday afternoon as fourth-placed Brentford host ninth-placed Liverpool. Andoni Iraola suffered his first defeat as Liverpool manager last weekend, as his side fell to a 0-3 defeat at home to Premier League leaders Manchester City – on an afternoon in which two of my three selections cruised in.
2. The game changed just past the hour mark when Ryan Gravenberch was shown his second yellow card, before three goals in the space of 13 minutes gave the Cityzens all three points.
3. However, the Reds returned to winning ways in the Champions League on Wednesday night, as they won 3-6 away to reigning Austrian champions LASK.
4. Brentford come into this clash in fourth position in the Premier League table following a 2-2 draw away at Villa Park against Aston Villa last weekend.
